Open area - was ist das?

Wir haben sehr viele Bewerbungen von Künstlern erhalten, die bei Atomino 2010 dabei sein wollen. Leider können wir nicht alle im diesjährigen Programm unterbringen. Jedoch wollen wir jedem interessierten Künstler die Möglichkeit geben, sich und seine Kunst ausserhalb des Programms auf dem Festival zu präsentieren: egal ob jemand seine Malereien mitbringt, Instrumente zur Jamsession oder eine Performance plant.

Das einzigste was wir von Euch benötigen, sind ein paar Infos im Vorhinein: was ihr machen wollt, wann ihr ankommt, welche Dinge ihr benötigt, wo ihr Hilfe braucht etc.Schreibt eine Mail an: openarea@atomino.eu Als Open-Area-Künstler können wir euch einen kostenlosen Campingplatz im internen Bereich zur Verfügung stellen.

What is the open area? A space to show any art that you think is experimental.

Who can apply? Any artist can show work in it, there are no selection restrictions. If you cannot travel to Crimmitschau it is still possible to perform remotely via videoconference by Internet. Contact us for details.

Is there a budget for this? We will dedicate some production budget to prepare a stage, monitors, projector and will help with more resources you may need... but unfortunately due to budget restrictions we cannot cover artist expenses for participants in the Open Area except free camping.

How can i apply? Send an email to openarea@atomino.eu with:

1. Your name
2. The title of the project
3. Production resources you need
   
4. Expected arrival date and hour in Crimmitschau or videoconference remote performance proposal
5. If you come, tell us if you want to benefit for a free place in the camping
   

This email is the only requirement we ask for and all applications sent with this information will be approved, even emails sent during the festival.
